Over the weekend we shared the news with our parents. We went to Matt's parent's house under the guise of needing to scan in some pictures (they have a scanner, we don't). Matt handed the pictures to his mom to show her before he just scanned them in, and they figured it out pretty quick!
Later that same day, we emailed my parent's the same scan as you see here. I called and told them to check their email since I sent them a picture, and to call me back when they got it. Some glitch in the cell phone service prevented me from receiving the call from them, I guess they called back immediately. An hour later the voicemail finally appeared, so I called them back and we chatted about the news. Mom said she might tell my grandpa when they saw him for Church.
I still haven't told my sister yet - I need to call her.
We had our small group Bible studies yesterday - the Parent's and Young Adult groups, one for lunch and one at 6:30 pm, and everyone was very happy for us. It's been fun sharing our big news!
