We've known for a while now, really.

Last Wednesday I had another of those typical (for me...) PMS monthly emotional breakdowns, and I almost always start my period the very next day. Funny....Thursday morning comes, no period. Friday Matt and I would've bet a lot of money that by the time he got home from work, I'd have started. At that point when good 'ole Aunt Flo had not yet come to visit we had our suspicions. The whole weekend I was moody (though I really do try hard not to be!!) and with the first day of my last period being 1/23/09, the writing on the wall became pretty obvious.

Even so, my husband and I are very practical. We know that in these very early days, the new life is so delicate, and rather than testing right away, we like to wait a while, in case a very early miscarriage should occur. That way, it just would seem like a late period, not a miscarriage, so therefore not as tough to handle. ((In theory, anyway - we've never had to go through a miscarriage, so it's just a guess)).

So last night we headed into the local CVS Pharmacy, and purchased the cheapest pregnancy test they had. Only needed one. We decided to wait until morning to test, as they say the morning urine is stronger, therefore easier to tell a positive.

The test we purchased had two circle windows. The left side window will show a plus sign if pregnant, the right side window just a verticle line.

Almost IMMEDIATELY the left side showed the + sign = Pregnant!!

So, what an exciting time we've begun again! It's now confirmed - we're expecting another Baby!!
